Garstang Self Storage is a small, family-run business. We’re Lucy and Andrew, and we run the site ourselves at South Works, Kenlis Road, Barnacre, close to Garstang. We provide secure gated container storage for local households, tradespeople and businesses.
We know storage is usually needed during busy or stressful times, such as moving house, clearing space, dealing with renovations, handling business stock or sorting family belongings. Our aim is to keep the whole thing simple, helpful and straightforward — and when you get in touch, it’s us you’ll be dealing with, not a call centre.
A local business, continuing
Garstang Self Storage was established in 2019 by John Pate. In April 2026 we took it over as John steps back to retire, and we’re proud to keep it running as a local, family business. The refreshed website and online booking are part of that — small improvements to make storing with us even simpler.
We’ve run businesses in and around the area for many years, so looking after local customers and doing things properly comes naturally to us.
Local, practical and easy to deal with
We are not trying to make storage complicated. You can send an enquiry first, complete the quick online setup once approved — about five minutes, with no deposit — pay monthly in advance, and access your container during our standard access times once your handover is complete.

The people behind the business
When you store with us, you’re dealing with us directly. We live and work locally, we look after the yard ourselves, and we’re always happy to talk things through on the phone, over WhatsApp or in person before you commit to anything.
